#1 How to clean and disinfect your microwave or refrigerator

In a bowl of water, add 5 drops of lemon essential oil and white vinegar. Place the bowl in your microwave and heat for 5 minutes.

Leave it to work for a few seconds, then wipe the walls with a damp sponge to remove residue and freshen the inside of your microwave. You can do the same for your refrigerator by placing a few drops of lemon essential oil or peppermint essential oil on a damp sponge. This helps disinfect your refrigerator and eliminate unpleasant odors.

To help repel mosquitoes, place 12 drops of citronella essential oil in an electric diffuser using mist diffusion. Diffuse for 5 to 10 minutes per hour to help maintain a mosquito-free atmosphere. And that's it!

#4 Your homemade scented potpourri…

- To create a winter potpourri, place cloves, cinnamon sticks and citrus peels on a small dish, then add a few drops of sweet orange essential oil or bergamot essential oil. Place the dish on top of a radiator to gently scent your cosy space.

- For a spring potpourri, arrange flower petals that you have picked from your garden and dried yourself on a small dish, then add a few drops of lemon essential oil or sweet orange essential oil.

- For a summer potpourri, place rose petals that you have previously picked and dried on a small dish, then add a few drops of ylang-ylang essential oil.

- Finally, for an autumn potpourri, fill a small dish with pine needles, bark and small pine cones that you have collected in the forest, then add a few drops of Scots pine essential oil or Eucalyptus radiata essential oil.

In a clean and healthy home, the soul breathes freely and the heart blossoms.

#5 How to get rid of unpleasant odors from dish towels…

Soak your dish towels in very hot water, then add 10 drops of Scots pine essential oil. Leave to soak for 15 minutes. Your textiles will be freshened and pleasantly scented.

#6 Naturally clean your bathroom: remove limescale deposits

Prepare your cleaning solution by mixing 200 ml of white vinegar with 200 ml of water in a spray bottle, then add 20 drops of mandarin essential oil.

Spray generously onto the surfaces you want to descale, leave to work for a few minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.

#7 Naturally clean your home: Make your own homemade glass cleaner

In a spray bottle, pour in 50 ml of white vinegar, 50 ml of demineralised water or spring water, then add 15 to 20 drops of peppermint essential oil. Shake well and use with a microfibre cloth.

#8 An effective multi-purpose disinfectant…

In a 2-litre container, pour 2 tablespoons of baking soda, 2 litres of hot water, 1 tablespoon of white vinegar and 2 tablespoons of linalool thyme essential oil. Close the container with the lid and shake gently before use.
