A Portrait of Michelle Gallinati Hey, Pioneer of Organic Maté

My name is Michelle Gallinati Hey, I am 36 years old, and I have been working for this yerba maté producer for the past year after changing companies. In fact, I have been working in the maté industry for over 10 years, following an earlier career in human resources. I am responsible for quality management and certification audits. I truly enjoy my work, and thanks to my experience, I no longer require additional training.

I appreciate the autonomy and trust that the company's management places in me, as I work primarily from home. I live 300 km away from the plantations and travel there whenever necessary, returning home the same day.

Since the COVID-19 crisis, I rarely visit the company offices and instead enjoy spending more time with my 15-year-old son.

I enjoy visiting Curitiba from time to time. The atmosphere is wonderful, and I love the factory environment, surrounded by lush vegetation, including yerba maté plants.

Outside of work, I practice Pilates… always accompanied by maté, a source of energy, well-being, and health!

Thanks to my job and my husband's work, we are finally going to achieve our dream this year and buy our own home. We hope to stay healthy and enjoy it for many years to come...
