Terres rouges

Les théiers à grandes feuilles sont cultivés et récoltés principalement par les ethnies minoritaires sur les terres rouges très fertiles des hauts plateaux brumeux du Yunnan, à l’extrême sud de la Chine.

Thé rouge

La présence de bourgeons dorés ainsi qu’un processus d’oxydation particulier donnent aux feuilles une couleur profonde aux reflets bruns que les chinois appellent thé rouge d’après la couleur de l’infusion et que les occidentaux appellent thé no ir d’après la couleur des feuilles séchées complètement oxydées.

Bienfaits

Comme tous les thés issus de théiers à large feuille, le Yunnan sublime est riche en polyphénols (théaflavines et théarubigines) extrêmement bienfaisants pour la santé. Considéré comme le moka des thés, son infusion ambrée longue en bouche offre des notes corsées et maltées, un thé riche et ample, très équilibré. Un délicieux thé du matin qui stimule sans énerver.
