Persian Dream, Black Tea with Pistachio & Pomegranate Persian Dream is a black tea inspired by Turkey.
Its creation was born during one of my journeys through the country, where tea is far more than a drink: it is a deeply rooted social ritual. Wherever you go, you are offered a welcoming glass of tea. On a boat gliding along the Bosphorus in Istanbul, in a shop or in a private home, tea accompanies every encounter.
In every household, tea is prepared throughout the day using the iconic double teapot, the çaydanlık. It is served in a tulip-shaped glass (ince belli), designed to retain heat while showcasing the amber colour of the infusion—most often a strong, full-bodied black tea. The flavours of Persian Dream draw their inspiration from the bazaars: vibrant, bustling places where stalls overflow with dried fruits, rose and hibiscus petals, spices, and other raw ingredients. Fresh, tangy and radiant pomegranate sits alongside pistachio, a staple of Turkish culinary culture. Pistachio is found in iconic desserts such as baklava, Turkish delight, and honey-soaked pastries.
To faithfully capture this aromatic richness, we chose 100% natural flavourings sourced from organic agriculture. They preserve the balance of the recipe without masking the character of the tea, allowing clear, authentic notes to shine—true to the raw ingredients that inspired them. Choosing black tea as the base came naturally. In Turkey, it is the tea of everyday life, shared at any hour. Its structure and depth provide the perfect canvas for the lively brightness of pomegranate and the soft, almost creamy roundness of pistachio notes.
